The 32nd Annual Lincoln National Guard Half and Full Marathon will again be a feature race for Runners With A Reason. 105 runners, some even coming from Mexico and Texas, have chosen their “reason” to run, and have raised in excess of $50,000 while they have trained. Runners have selected a wide variety of "reasons." The night before the race, all of the runners will all gather together with their support/cheering groups (and for many of runners, their “reasons”) to eat pasta and hear each other’s stories.
On race day, each runner will wear a bright gold shirt with the runner's "reason" on the back. If you see members of Runners With A Reason, make sure you ask about their "reason."If you are a runner, think about what will get you through the last couple miles of your race. If you aren’t running, think about what means enough to you to get you to run the next time. After the race, let us know your reason at www.runnerswithareason.org or info@runnerswithareason.org. We’d love to hear from you.
